Letter from the President of the Community

Welcome to the Marlborough-Nantucket Citizens Association website!  We’re so pleased to welcome you and hope that you find this to be a helpful place for information.

By way of introduction, we have a Community Association, (the Marlborough-Nantucket Citizens Association, or ‘MNCA’), which provides a structure for dealing with issues that affect the community. This allows us, through the Association, to have an official voice through which we can petition county officials regarding matters that affect us all. I serve as the President of the Association, which in total serves 204 homes.

MNCA is able to provide a number of activities and services to our community. For example, the Association periodically issues a “Directory of Residents” to MNCA Members and new residents; distributes a quarterly newsletter about community activities; running & maintaining the website; paints house numbers on street curbs for those MNCA members who request this; conducts a “neighborhood watch” program to keep us all safe; sponsors an annual yard sale in the spring; conducts a Halloween parade and kids party for the entire community; and holds one annual meeting that includes a dessert social.

Membership in MNCA is entirely voluntary. The annual dues of $10/household cover all of the costs of our activities listed above. In addition, we have found that e-mail addresses included in the directory facilitate rapid communication of special interest notifications to the community, so you may wish to  permit inclusion of your e-mail address in the directory.

On this webpage, you will find information about upcoming activities, how to get in touch with board members, resourceful information (like recommendations for household services) and other great information.  Feel free to click around and explore!

If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to use the "Contact Us" button at the bottom of this page and someone will get back to you promptly.

This is a great place to live, and we are so glad you are here. Welcome!

Alex Hahn

MNCA President
